Sneep Crew is one of the reasons Obscure Sneakers exists. We have always been driven to discover the unknown. From forgotten vintage models, to great up and coming independent brands. Sneep Crew is one of the most complete brands on the planet. With a solid marketing backbone, an incredible factory and a family that has been in the shoe industry for decades.
They have slowly been incorporated and loved by sneaker enthusiasts world wide. We have gotten together once again, to celebrate our one of a kind and solid partnership by collaborating on a limited run of 70 hand crated pairs.
Our new RW Eco is inspired by the Red Snapper, another native species from the South Floridian waters. This will be the second and final piece of the "Floridian Fish" pack that started with our first collaboration; the colorful and eye catching "Mahi Mahi" Zool.
The Red Snapper is dressed in different shades of premium red suede and nubuck. Giving it it's distinguished reddish color. The tongue and collar of the sneaker is dressed in a deep burgundy mimicking the darker tones on the fish.
We've been very careful with the details of this second collaboration. The perforated parts of the upper, are shaped to mimic the scales of the snapper with reflective 3M underlay. The insole is customized with a fish bone image, tying the entire motif of the sneaker together.
Each pair has it's own personalized serial number (from 01 to 70) engraved on the snapper shaped key chain that comes attached to the sneaker.
