Our third collaboration with Spanish powerhouse Sneep Crew is inspired by the roots and colors of our home state of Florida. Our unmistakable blue/teal oceans, our luscious and vibrant oranges, and of course sunshine, lots, and lots of sunshine.
We asked ourselves, how can we capture the essence of Florida? Well, it seems as our teams delivered! With one of the most eye-catching and vibrant sneakers to have released this year! That is the essence of FLORIDA! The Grand Floridian!
It starts with the box, a work of art on its own! With graphics inspired by the colorful souvenir shops of Key West. The abundance of details is practically impossible to grasp at first sight.
We asked Sneep Crew to deliver us a sneaker with high-quality two-tone teal pigskin suede with perforations that imitate rays of sunshine. Under the perforations, we used a yellow 3M underlay to give the effect of actual sun rays reflecting off the shoe. All contrasted and complemented with neon orange 3M hits through the sneaker and a dark blue panel of rich pigskin suede for contrast.
The tongue on both shoes has embroidery of the same logo found on all License plates for vehicles in Florida. We also added a double pull tab on the heel and tongue for style and comfort.
We have once again included the high-tech Vibram® sole used in our past collaboration. This time, in a light teal with dark blue speckles mimicking the crashing waves on our beaches. The Obscure branding can be found embroidered on the toe box of the left shoe in neon yellow.
The Sneep Crew logo is embroidered on the right shoe. We will provide two sets of laces. One neon yellow and orange rope lace (for contrast). The second option is teal flat laces that go with the predominant color on the design.
We've been very careful with the details of this third collaboration. All to satisfy the justified demands of real sneaker collectors in the game. We sure are proud of this project, and are sure you guys will too!
